Automated Scoring by
MicroFlow (in vivo) Better Data, Faster Results MicroFlow kits use flow cytometry to overcome the significant disadvantages of microscopic scoring. Following a simple fixing procedure, samples are analyzed in a fraction of the time compared to traditional scoring methods. Results from a complete micronucleus test can typically be obtained in just one day, versus many weeks via microscopy. Using this software-based method, analyses are also more objective than by manual scoring. Not only do MicroFlow kits provide more reliable data, this approach offers ten times the number of cells scored (20,000 versus 2,000) and much tighter standard deviations. This is a level of reproducibility not possible with other methods. |
